@ paulbunyan
I really hope so. For starters, the dog doesn't even need clothes.
in that case I'll give him one of your shoes and he can chew on it for a whole year or so.
Ah, yes, I checked. It's a boy.
Re: @ paulbunyan
Are you going to name him?

Yes. Everyone deserves a name.

[ You know me well. Also he's not going to delete nor the photos or the video, no. It's less because he wants to use it as blackmail and more that, like Vanya's book, he doesn't have any other record of his disaster family. ]
I'm talking about the present, Diego. God know if there will be a next week, I no longer plan time ahead.

[ Not that he's judging his brother, but he's kind of judging his brother. Because he can. It's no different than any other taunts they threw at one another in their youth, after all. ]

[Drinking directly from the bottle, yes. Also literally hugging the bottle with one arm when Number Five teleports in. Apparently, he wasn't feeling too depressed to drink it earlier: it's already two-thirds gone. There's also an unopened — and free of backwash — bottle sitting at the foot of the armchair Klaus is occupying.
At his brother's sudden appearance, he exhales a greeting, like someone being woken up out of a nap.]
Hey, welcome.

[ Five was mindful to bring his own clean glass because he figured Klaus wouldn't have any. The view of his brother hugging his alcohol doesn't catch him by surprise but he unopened bottle does.
He grabs it but doesn't open it just yet, walking over to his sibling with a little frown on his face. Five tries to find a place to sit down but every surface is covered in clothes, magazines and...stuff. Lots of it. In the end, Five sits on the floor, cross legged. ]
Have you gotten any sleep lately? You look like crap.

Five's already waiting for her in one of the tables by the window but he was polite enough to wait before ordering his own coffee. He didn't know what to expect but she sounded interesting when they talked and he was curious about Mystique's own problems with not looking her age. For a 13 years old kid, he looked unusually serious and controlled, which might get her attention.

Indeed, it's easy to spot Five once she sets foot in the cafe -- she walks over with the easy strides of a sixteen-year-old because she's practiced at the art of wearing other people, but when she sits down to study Five's face briefly, she looks for more in a few seconds than some people look for in hours.
"Hey, Five." Casual and confident, like they're already acquaintances.

[ Their bad luck is the true heirloom of the family, Diego. It's terrible. ]
Oh god, don't make me laugh or that might happen.
[ It's only a few minutes until Five is texting him again. The staff made a bit of a fuss at seeing him limping but they thankfully didn't comment on it.]
I didn't know that beds could vibrate. I thought they only did that in movies from the 70s. It feels funny.

[ He's not used as being wanted for the company, so her insistence in talking face to face is both touching and disarming. ]
I'll see you in ten minutes then.
[ Five used to live among the rumble of an old library, he won't be scandalized if her flat is less than tidy. Rey worries too much. But once the time comes and he ends in her flat, the teddy bear will get his attention for sure if it's within view.
He teleports into her living room, for once looking a little awkward. ]

And sitting on her small desk is an old stuffed teddy bear that seemingly had a scowl on its face.]
Hey.
[She calls out casually from the doorway to her room. Hair down and wearing an oversized sweater with pajama bottoms.]
Do you want water or...anything?

[After giving Rey a little bit of a heart attack at her place, both Fives know they need to talk. They're overdo for it really. However it is hard to have a conversation in the house when one or more of their siblings are interrupting them.
So it isn't surprising that they end up in the public library after hours. It's one of the familiar places that feels like a home away from home. Of course, the fact that it is not in ruins doesn't change the fact that it had been something of a home base during their days in the wasteland.
As they stand in the upper level wing of the empty building, Five glances over to the equations they wrote on the columns, when they had been drinking away their frustrations with Delores by their side. From the looks of it, they hadn't vanished even though they managed to change the timeline and the library hadn't painted over them yet.]
Hmm, I don't know if I find this comforting or not.
[ He says simply, reaching out to place a hand on one of the columns. ]

It's proof that we were here for real. And that the cleaning methods here are questionable at best.
[ Standing next to his other self, Five expressions softens. It's just the two of them and it's absurd trying to pretend around each other. ]
It feels more like home than the Academy.

N..no, what gave you that idea? >_>
don't mind me, just drowning in feelings over here!
Oh god, it's raining on my face too
the assault of feelings continues....
eVeRyThInG iS fInE...sob
clearly they need more hugs!
From the rest of their siblings too, yup
the siblings got to find them first!
I'm sure something can be arranged
Oh my heart, these two are too precious right now <3
Babies ;W; ...old babies but still
Let's try this, a Commission AU
Thus AJ dared to call in a specialist. Though she wasn't a specialist that he called upon lightly. Especially as he knew her to be a bit of a wild card, but what choice did he have when Five and his family were just so crafty at evading some of the best of his people? There was a reason why Five was considered one of their best and he truly hated that the man had to go break his contract, his future could have bright.
Mina on the other was not like the Swedes, nor anything like Hazel and Cha Cha and even the Handler wasn't up to her level. Which was why AJ never spoke to anyone about his specialist. Thus Mina found herself in the 1960s tracking a family of misfits that were sort of endearing in their own ways. They kind of reminded her of her own wayward family, who were currently in a different timeline living their lives unaware and unharmed. Just the way she preferred it. After tracking the various members, she had signaled out Five as the actual leader of their family, thus she decided to approach him first. From the looks of it, he already wanted out of the timeline, so maybe she could help him without things getting messy. Maybe.
Quietly she stood out in the alley watching the building she knew he and his brothers were using as a base, biding her time. Though unexpectedly Five suddenly appeared in said alley as if he had been thrown there. Leaning against the wall, Mina crossed her arms and smirked at him.]
Now this is certainly a turn of good fortune...
[She spoke with a strong British accent as she gave him a sly smile. ]
At least for me.
[ She added after a beat. ]
Perfect~
That didn't mean he wasn't getting fed up with the number of agents and strike teams the Commission kept sending after his family and himself. Will these people never learn? If they only left the Hargreeves alone, a lot of unnecessary bloodshed and manslaughter would be avoided. They had enough trouble on their own, trying to stop yet another Apocalypse from happening and finding their Father. They had enough troubles that Five had been positively distracted. Otherwise, he might have noticed the Swedes sooner and, now, the new addition to the assassins tailing them.
He is already annoyed by Luther throwing him off the stairs and hearing an unexpected voice doesn't improve Five's mood. His attention turns to her and he tilts his head like a hawk considering if what's in front of him is a new threat or prey. She didn't seem surprised by a kid appearing out of mid-air so the former option is more plausible. ]
It might not last. Who are you?

It's just in case; with some luck, your clothes won't get stained at all. My shirt is beyond saving, but I'm used to it. All the more reason to wear black suits.
Nailed it. The rest of my family makes less of an effort to seem presentable, but she makes it look almost effortless. [ Granted, Five does try to look decent, but he ends up bruised or covered in blood often as well. ] You're not a fan of parties and people, then? I can't blame you.
Hah. That sounds like a comeuppance to me. It should teach them to be more careful. Good choice, if you ask him. Never let controlling parents tell you how to live your life.
she might be a little squeamish nbd
[ She's got a sewing kit in front of her with various needles, and while Eloise did say that she wasn't squeamish, she technically hasn't spent a lot of time giving sutures before, and the thread doesn't look nearly sturdy enough to do the trick. She shows it to him before saying ]
Again, if this ends up being a rubbish job, please take matters into your own hands before I mangle you. Luckily for both of us, I can talk and work at the same time, so just try to ignore that pi— that is an intersting feeling — right, as I was saying, I may be the least presentable by society's standards but still clean up well. I just don't enjoy the pressure.
[ She inspects her work so far and dips the cloth into get more disinfectant on it. After a sharp inhale, Eloise swipes it across his arm and gives him the most apologetic look that she's able to manage. ] I'm so sorry. I really do not wish to hurt you.

Hey you!
What made things worse was the constant state of flux as his siblings continuously disappeared and reappeared. So often that he finally felt the need to leave the main house, choosing to take Sammy and May with him. Though he did come back to the main house to check in on Grace and see which siblings would still be around.
He'd often bring Sammy with him as they would be out for walks. However today he had Sammy as well as May and her sister Mocha with him. All the pets needed their vet visit and it was just easier to take them all at once. He decided to drop in at the main house for his usual check in. Immediately Sammy was excited to be let off the leash, barking and jumping up on Five.]
Okay, okay. Calm down, buddy. You're going to frazzle the girls.
[ He says amused as he unhooks the leash and lets Sammy run into the house, figuring he probably smells one of the siblings that gives him treats or something. Five lightly chuckles as he looks into the carrier to check on May and Mocha. ]
You want to come out and play, babies?
[ He asks as he sits the carrier down on the floor and opens it to let the cats out next. Both cats slowly coming out, cautious but curious as always. Instinctively he clicks his tongue as he pets the cats. By now he doesn't care who sees him. He loves his fur babies as they are the only constant thing in his life.]

Looking up, he sees the empty space on the wall where Reginald's painting used to be, and a memory assaults his brain. Five knows the painting is missing because Klaus and he set it on fire outside the garden, years ago. It had been a 'fuck you, goodbye, miss you never' to his recently deceased father.
Oh, so that's the familiar feeling. He knows this reality.
Five can't remember when exactly he disappeared from this timeline, or was it a rift in time?, or even how he has now managed to appear in it once again. While he was gone, so were his memories, and now they came flooding back to him.
This was a safe place where Grace was still around, where there were more than seven siblings, where their father was finally gone, and where Ben was alive, when the world hadn't ended.
It was nice, healing. Too nice to last.
He's still trying to figure out how he got here when the voice coming from the entrance catches his attention. Five's still standing in the middle of the living room, but he turns his attention towards the entrance, only to be greeted by the sight of a large dog excitedly trotting towards him. ]
